Interesting to see the way the people are being tossed around like rag dolls. Must have been pretty scary for them.

LOL! Cruiseship staff groping the passengers in the video. Those cruise lines hire felons and other riff raff.

If you want truly scary, go find the video from the storage/loading area in this same ship. A forklift is tossed about like a toy truck. It could have easily cut the guy in half or skewered him.

In my days aboard an Essex Class Carrier, we’d watch evening movies in Hangar Bay 1 sitting on folding chairs.

In heavy weather, we’d slip and slide port to starboard, and starboard to port ... didn’t interrupt the movie at all.

That brings back fond memories of life on board a US Navy destroyer as the lead Radar technician. The ship went through 15-20ft+ waves all night. The Radar room had broken coffee cups and books all over the floor in the morning. The only thing standing was a coffee cup with that anti-gravity stuff on it. There that cup was in the middle of the room on a table in defiance of all! I wanted to kick that thing off the table so bad because it belonged to a communications technician that left it in the Radar rooom.

No I do not. I accessed from survivalistboards.com where I am a member (under the same name), but you can find it on Youtube pretty easily I'd guess.

Near the end, it looks like when a man was kneeling down to help another man who was on the floor, a pile of tables, chairs etc crashed into them both. Wonder if they were ok

I was a teen AF military dependent in the 50’s; we were on a Navy transport called the E.D. Patrick heading for Japan and hit a typhoon. Three days of slippin’ and slidin’ and lights flickering off and on. A ton of barf bags were used. It wasn’t fun!

I noticed the one guy with a striped shirt, and he sure went sliding past time and again. Hope they were all OK.

Dang - I wasn't supposed to let that top secret info out... oh well.

(It was a tapered cup with the slip resistant material on the bottom!) The kind people used on their car dash boards before drink holders.

It wasn’t fun!

My first night at sea was in the Tasman Sea. I flew into Christchurch to meet my ship. 20 foot plus seas - whew eee. What a cruise. It was my only night of ever being sea sick.

I have never been on a boat since. My family begs me to go on a cruise and all I can think about is those three days and I say “no thanks”
