The business of politics got a little dirty on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" Thursday night.
Meghan McCain (yes, daughter of Arizona Senator John McCain) joined Stewart last night to chat about her book, "Dirty Sexy Politics," and the conversation soon veered into Palin territory.
The book, Stewart pointed out, "is a view of the campaign trail that’s very personal" - almost like he was reading someone's diary, he said.
“I basically wrote a very real book," McCain explained. "It’s very sad and I talk about everything – I talk about sex and politics and everything in between and what I think about Sarah Palin, which has gotten a lot of coverage.”
But McCain also had a few words to say about Palin's "Dancing With the Stars" daughter, Bristol.

Her theories on it, or what? It can't be from experience, because I can't imagine any man, alive or dead, willing to fall on Grenade Meghan. Assuming for the moment, as nauseating as that is, that during "combat exercises" she probably starts criticizing the poor desperate schlub, calling him a limp-conservative, etc.
Too bad someone worthy wasn’t born to those hundreds of millions of bucks.....or was she from McCain’s original marriage?
A leader would not speak ill of those who rise from difficulty and attempt to make their own way.
According to a reviewer at Amazon, she talks of stealing other politicians’ signs. Nasty little crook, if true. That’s a misdemeanor, at least. Lucky for her, she is a child of privilege, so no one dares charge her for it.
The same way she stands up to Obama, almost daily. Perhaps you missed that.
That said, Palin spent a day back in March supporting McCain, including making that much used radio commercial, and then she didn't spend another minute with him.
Now we have a pissed off McCain who won't lift a finger to shut up his evil spawn.
The moral of the story is that you either completely support a candidate or you don't. You don't support a McCain full tilt as she did in March and then expect him not to get mad when you don't show up for him again.
She was in a tough situation, I would have done it differently.

Well, Meghan, thank you for sharing how well Mommy and Daddy raised you. You are a testament to their parenting skills.
“I’m a believer, I just think that there’s a lot of negativity dominating the media and there’s a lot of angry people,” she said. “I’m just trying to give people that feel like they have somehow been neglected by more extremists that, you know you have a home with me and I’m fighting the good fight.”
Like...you know... wow.
She is a buffoon, a total cariacature.
Her book is like # 1,174 on Amazon.
I think even that is too high.
Bristol tops Meghan in the looks department hands down.
I think Meghan is a little jealous that Bristol got invited to Dancing With the Stars while Meghan had to settle for a second billing with Hulk Hogan on WWE.
Poor Johnny. He didn't appreciate Palin's lack of enthusiasm. Of course, McCain and his crew lost no time throwing Palin under the bus after the 2008 election. Had I been Palin in 2010, I would never have returned the rat-bastage's calls in the first place.
I think Megs has a mental problem and her parents are afraid of her.
If she didn't endorse McCain's reelection, she would have been dragged through the streets as being disloyal to the one who brought her to the dance and the Left would have made her out to be a backstabbing Bit@h.
Meghan McCain is a bully....she has so little self worth that by demeaning those around her she feels powerful.....what a pathetic mean girl.....I would think she would have grown up by now and stopped acting like a middle school girl.......shame on her.....
