Thoughts of an average American.

"America has not yet felt the total impact of the blow we took on 9-11. The reverberation has yet to return. If we do not ready ourselves for the second shock, WE as America WILL FALL."

I got up early this morning to do yard work. The cool fresh air drew me into a quiet time with the Lord. I came away with this thought after 9-11 came to mind. It felt so profound that I wrote it down. Here it is.

"America has not yet felt the total impact of the blow we took on 9-11. The reverberation has yet to return. If we do not ready ourselves for the second shock, WE as America WILL FALL."

The call to action then came to mind in which I paraphrase here;

Speak up, speak out, let it be known your disgust of the LOCATION of the mosque. Get up, Get out, GET INVOLVED !!!!!

With all that said my friends I will close with this, Spend some quiet time with the Lord today. ALL days should have time spent with the Lord but as a minimum, THIS day is another day of the year one should make a special effort to spend time with the Lord. On your knees.

Do you have some idea of what you believe to be this 2nd wave?

If there is one, it will be when we sweep the halls of power with 100+ seats. And then they do nothing good of it.

THAT would be our last ending...

The placement of this mosque at this location is an IN YOUR FACE act of disrespect. The enemy will be emboldened either direction this goes. We will be labeled intolerant if the site is blocked. If this site is allowed weakness will be displayed. Tolerance will be confused for timidity and Americans will show we are asleep again thus giving strength to the radical islamist. (I do not want to capitalize that word).
With regards to the vote, I hope the republican party does see that they erred in catering to too many rhino's when we did have power. They also reached across the isle in good faith and allowed Senator Kennedy to write the education bill. (just one example there). We were told that we would “Rue the day” if our senators went the “nuclear option” and actually called for a cloture vote. What has all that reaching out done for us? As far as I can tell, NOTHING!!!
The “second blow” is much more subtle and prolonged then that the initial blow. Allowing this mosque will represent our unpreparedness to handle what awaits us in the future.
