Good. Maybe someone will buy it that will get rid of the sleaze. Which would be good. They offer some useful services.

I almost went with them. Maybe it is just as well I didn’t.

What they have accomplished as a late arrival to that industry is actually remarkable. They were probably 500th to market, but actually took over massive market share.

Was expecting this...
GoDaddy has been running widely distributed coupon campaigns of $0.99 and $1.77 for a yearly domain name registration in the last few months.

I hope whoever buys them doesn't screw it up. They were one of the early companies pushing reasonable prices for domain registration (especially compared to Network Solutions' prices). I have a few domains registered through them and I would hate to have to move them.

You know a company is in trouble when the only object of interest is the spokesbabe.

"Isn’t that a porn site?"

No, it's an internet address registration company. If you want your own internet address, you pay a company like godaddy.com to register such an address.

They do, however, have fairly "sexualized" commercials and marketing campaigns.

I hope so too. Every single one of my domain purchases have been through GoDaddy, all at very reasonable prices.

this could be more bad news for AZ. we are already at a 9.7% unemployment, which i believe is more around 15% if you counting those of us which don’t receive unemployment and are still looking for a job.

They do, however, have fairly "sexualized" commercials and marketing campaigns.

Their usual tactic is to air a commercial that ends with the implication that we're about to see Danica Patrick's b00bies, with a text caption giving the URL for an "extended cut" of the commercial. News flash* -- the "extended cut" of the commerical doesn't show Danica Patrick's b00bies, either.

*pardon the pun
