Well the ill-logic you apply to one situation should ill-logically apply to the other.

You value animals in need of adoption more than humans in need of adoption?

If you ignore animals in need of adoption and instead consult your own needs as far as what you need a dog for, you are “selfish ignorant and/or greedy”; but if you ignore humans in need of adoption and instead consult your own desire to bear your own children, and you are NOT similarly “selfish ignorant and/or greedy”?

So you cannot see the need for a purebred dog? Really? Ever get out of suburbia to see actual working dogs?

I never knew that millions of homeless children were being euthanized every year....

LOL. So it is OK that children are without parents while people just go selfishly having their own children instead of adopting, because the children are not going to be euthanized!

But it is NOT OK that animals have no humans while people go selfishly seeking the animals they desire instead of adopting, because the poor little dears will be euthanized!

So ever get out of suburbia and see any actual working dogs? Still laboring under the delusion that just any dog will do? Still think it is selfish and ignorant and/or greedy to want a dog for a specific purpose instead of adopting a dog from the pound?

Millions of unwanted children are euthanized every year - they are usually euthanized in utero.

Maybe if more people ADOPTED, less would be euthanized! But people are just “selfish ignorant and/or greedy”, and damned if they don't want their own kids from the get go instead of inheriting someone elses problems.
