Skip to comments. Can't post 'Caption this Pic' anymore?? (vanity)

I've tried twice to post a "Caption this Pic" but have been thrown off FR each time and had to log back in--are these not allowed any more? Do the admin mods just yank them without letting posters know they can't be posted? < puzzled >
>>>>maybe freerepublic now has closed captioning :o)
FR has always been closed-captioned for the thinking impaired.
“ap” was in the url, and you probably should have noticed it when you uploaded into tinypic
What about Helen Thomas pictures?
as in would laz tAP it ?
You don’t try hard enough.
Get back to work!
Catch up!!! My very first post, almost ten years ago, got banned.
Laz’d hit anything that stood still or he could rope and steer wrestle.
Wanna buy some nekkid Pelosi pix?
Wow, I completely forgot what this thread was about. All I can think about is.... well, 50% of you know what, and 49% of you think you know what.
nekkid Pelosi pix?
They have to exist somewhere.
Best that somebody profits by them.
I’m just sayin’....
“Were you trying to post nekkid Pelosi pix? “
Oh, Yikes!!! ... did you really need to plant that image in my brain so close to dinnertime??! :-O !!!
URL? What URL?
To save images, I right click on the pic with my mouse, choose “save image”, a save box pops up, wants to know where to save it, and the name—if it’s a mile long (this one was: ‘capt.4eb5952647d14eb58697f7a0167d9f2f-4eb5952647d14eb58697f7a0167d9f2f-0’) I give it a shorter title (’obamastoopidlook’) then go to tinypic and do a browse, click on the jpg and upload to FR...where do you find the URL for an image?
I had a LIVE thread of a White House event pulled during that event.
It ook the mod nearly 20 minutes to wake up to the fact that it was a LIVE White House event and restore the thread — after much of the event was over.
Mods are mysterious. One never knows what they will pull or why.
I tried to post a pic of Obama’s birth cert and instead I got a trojan horse attack from some gov’t server. Go figure./s
Seeing that your typical Mod reviews probably a hundred threads in the time it takes you to post one, it’s not surprising at all.
Weird. Nope, I pasted and cut EXACTLY what popped up on ‘save image as’ (minus the apostrophes at beginning and end)
That ‘http://d.yimg.com/a/p/ap/20100920'; isn’t there!
...I’m using Firefox, would that make a difference? Does it have a different addy in MS or Linux or whatever else someone may be using?
Stand by to have your taxes audited too.
Um, “stealing” a pic from AP and posting it from say image shack doesn’t make it any less of a violation of copyright.
