A soldier from the Northeast Kingdom is recovering after being shot in Afghanistan.
Twenty-seven year-old Patrick McElroy was hit by friendly fire on Friday according to his parents. He was shot once in the leg and once in the abdomen. The East Barnet native is being treated at a military hospital in Germany and is expected to be transferred to Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington D.C. later this week.
His parents say a full recovery is expected. McElroy has a wife and two young children.
Get well soon. At least you'll be close to your cute kid!
I do battle daily with Lib Loon posters (of which Vermont has an over abundance) on their web site and have been "Ghosted" at least 20 times in the last year because I continually call the BFP out on their abscence of objectivity and what they continually try to pretend they are, "Principled!"
The latest was yesterday as a result of my calling out the Editor/Publisher for avoiding the major scandal and accusations of Dear Leader's DOJ and Holder being Corrupt and Racist
Since the Community Agitator's inauguration there has been Zip, Zero, Nada news story which could be considered even remotely embarrasing, never mind, damaging to the Fascist Pretender-in-Chief--or for that matter ANY Demo-Rat
This tragedy will simply provide fodder for the Hate America/Hate Military Moonbats, but fear not, as a Nam Vet, I don't cut thos A-Holes any slack and look out for the 1,100 Vermont National Guard serving in Afghanistan!!!
