Y'know, living in such close proximity to Florida, I have to tell you that there truly is a disproportionate amount of Darwin Award candidates living in that state. I mean, they are nucking futs. I can spot someone with a Florida driver's license just from being a half mile behind them on the freeway. As beautiful as the state is, it's also like some cosmic lab experiment exploring stunted intellectual development. A gaddamn state-run halfway house with trailer parks and palm trees.

Oh, for Pete’s sake. My 96-year old great, great Aunt hid outside last summer for several hours, awaiting the arrival of a skunk that she had seen prowling about her yard for several nights.

She shot him dead with one shot...without shooting herself.

You know, as much as we like to laugh at that picture, it really wasn’t an unreasonable thing for him to be doing. There isn’t even a magazine in the well. Heck, I bet Algore never even got issued any ammo.

This man didn’t know the proper procedure of pointing the weapon at his foot and pulling the trigger when unsure if the weapon is unloaded. Hence the expression, “He shot himself in the foot.”
