They’ve been close a few times (they literally had the Falcon game in their hands) but to borrow a line from Bill Parcells...”You are what your record says you are.”

Ironically the NFL scheduled the DAL-MIN game at 4:15 with the expectation that they’d probably both be 3-1 instead of the reverse. I actually think the fact that this is all but an elimination game makes it even more compelling.

Won/lost record is a side issue. NFL is a game for gamblers. NFL caters to gamblers.

I went to a Patriots pre season game at Washington last year. Nice stadium although the parking situation was a bit odd.

Fortunately in the NFL it doesn't. Sadly in college one's win/loss record is only a factor in determining who gets to play for a championship.
