It didn't happen in Miami. It didn't even happen in Broward. But we have our own share of very old men, and now consider ourselves warned.
Stuart resident Herbert Johnson, 92, has been ordered to stay out of Martin County public libraries after waging an amorous campaign toward female employees.
His offensive included, for one librarian in particular, a letter left on the front desk "containing sexually explicit language stating what (he) wanted to do to" her. (And just like that, adult illiteracy sounds downright delightful.)
Authorities say Johnson also sent the woman "innapropriate" gifts and letters, which she either refused or destroyed. A second employee reported Johnson made unwanted advances toward her, as well.
A Martin County deputy visited Johnson at home, handing him a trespass warning for all county libraries. As one Stuart resident noted, if Johnson isn't careful, assault with a dead weapon could be next.
Wait ... what's that? This pervert is bothering the help? This isn't affecting the Public? This is affecting government workers?? Ban that guy! Out! Out! Out!

Reminiscent of a guy’d I’d see most every time we went down to Waikiki to the Hale Koa and went out to the beach. An old dude was practically a fixture, walking up and down the beach, indeterminate age but appearing at least 80. His attire each time we saw him (also reported by other friends who had been along that stretch of beach) was a white gauze thong with a little tassel hanging down the back along the butt crack. I never saw him interact with anyone and haven’t seen him on our past few treks into the zoo that is Waikiki - probably passed away from melanoma.
If you’ve ever been subjected to this, it ain’t fun.
Librarians I have known have worked in places where the city permitted black kids to come in and call them “white b****es” for telling the kids to take their feet off the tables and stop shouting at each other, and elderly and homeless men were allowed to sit there watching porn and masturbating while the librarians were forbidden to do anything about it.
The sick thing, of course, is that most librarians are radical Dems. But still, there’s no way to defend this guy. He’s not a cute old mannie.
I had a 75 year old fella working for me and the county attached his paychecks to cover child support for 2 kids less than 5 years old.

Can’t go into the Dallas public library without disturbing some homeless guy in the aisles or taking a bath in the restroom.
