IMO, Fringe has become an inferior remake of “The X-Files.” Overly complex story arcs, characters disappearing and reappearing, parallel universes, lack of internal consistency, etc. None of this is bad (except for internal consistency), but in Fringe it is done badly. We stopped watching before the last season ended.
