Most irresponsible/Dangerous Toy 2010
Self

Posted on 11/10/2010 8:43:21 PM PST by Bean Counter

Costco has had Christmas stuff out for a month now, and since Halloween is past, but Thanksgiving is still ahead, I think it is time to start thinking about the most irresponsible or dangerous toy selections of the Season for 2010.

What is your favorite submission for the one item that will make Personal Injury Attorneys slaver at the sight of it...??

What is the most outrageous item to threaten little Johnny on Christmas morning this year?

Or Mr. Mainway's lunch menu for Elementary School children --- "Black Coffee and Cigarettes" ---

"Hey look, we gotta give these kids what they want, ya know? We took a poll and the kids picked caffeine and nicotine .. we're just giving 'em what they want"

They called it a dangerous game; but there was nothing wrong with "Poke in the Eye with a Sharp Stick!"

I'll never forget the television ad - Roll the Dice and Take Your Chances!

That is so old school. I do like the "safe" radioactive materials. Every kid needs some yellowcake.

Here is what all the cool kids need this year.

Most dangerous toys in my opinion are: Anything that is ‘safe’ for kids. Helmets, knee pads, etc. A good bonk on the head teaches far more about the world than the ‘safety’ bubble we put our children in today. I’m starting to see helmets on kids who are just walking around with their parents at the market, and not because of having some physical or mental challenge. Just normal kids and too protective parents.

Lawn darts were great fun! Seems they were around for a couple years before the recall campaign.
