When you get your children into acting you are creating their identity and perceived values only takes effect when they are performing. All moments off stage drives them to feel that connection and acceptance again in the only place they can, in front of an audience. Like starving someone of oxygen, their actions become more desperate as the oxygen is used up in their system. I personally think it is cruel, because they are not aware this system is being installed in them and it will be a life long desperation which will enslave them.

How do you explain the child stars who have gone on to have good adult lives? I say it has a lot more to do with the family life off the clock.
