Some of the items look pretty darn tasty.

BTW, I'm of the opinion that poutine is one of man's greatest accomplishments - right behind the discovery of penicillin but at least three places ahead of the Mona Lisa. :-)

Poutine???

Poutine??? Really?

I've never heard of it before, but after reading the description, I can understand why so many people speak so passionately about invading Canada, razing their cities, poisoning their lakes, rivers, and streams, salting their fields, and sending every last Canadian to a death camp.

In BC you just ask for gravy on your chips. It beats vinegar.

Okay, they had me at the McMollettes. But the Pechuga McPalta looks pretty good too, and I think I would be tempted by the Paneer Salsa Wrap because I like paneer. I don’t know about the Poutine (which really out to be McPoutine) the brown gravy sounds off-putting, but I supposed it needs to be tried.

French fries, gravy and cheese. I realize your mileage may vary, but I’m not really seeing the problem here.

Poutine MUST be made with fries that have been deep fried in grease to a crispy golden brown. If it's made with frozen fries that you bake in the oven, it's quite disgusting.

I like mollettes too. I get them sometimes for breakfast at a Mexican food stand in my neighborhood. Really tasty, and fills me up for not a lot of money.

You never put gravy on mashed potatoes?
It’s sort of the same - except deep fried - and that’s a one up notch kicker!

In NJ, fries with cheese and brown gravy are usually called “disco fries.”

I have no idea why.

All those menu items look interesting, though, except the one with spaghetti and marina sauce. At McDonalds? That’s just wrong.

I'm still laughing at your post. But I don't know how we Americans can complain much as long as we tolerate KFC's Double-Down Sandwich. Yeecccchhhhh! Double-Down
