Don't let FreeRepublic become DemocratUnderground.
11/18/2010 | Me

Posted on 11/18/2010 10:38:27 AM PST by Democrats hate too much

Free Republic is a pro-life, pro-family, pro-liberty constitutional conservative activist web site. Those who cannot live with that should simply stay away!! (saves wear and tear on my zot button - bitterly clinging redneck, Jim)

Romney is an unrepentant abortionist/statist lying political whore! Just to be absolutely clear, there will never ever be a RINO Romney campaign on FR!! If he somehow becomes the nominee, FR will be running a full-time campaign to DEFEAT him!! If you wish to support him then I suggest you sign off FR and onto Wankers for Mitt!!

Those statments make me worry that FreeRepublic is moving toward a DemocratUnderground kind of stance toward their users. Romney may have done some mistakes like Health Car but I have constantly heard him say that universal helath care was a mistake. If I'm wrong, so what. Lets not kick good Republicans off this site because of their views on abortion and Mitt Romney. Look, if someone says something good about Romney, fine. State your point and try to change that person's views. We are not kicking them off the site! That is DemocratUnderground style dumb. It's what they do.

I think the concentration of anti-Romney articles is a pre-emptive warning to any would be Romney supporters to simply stay away from FreeRepublic. I don’t know what went on here during the last primary that caused the mass banning of posters. I somehow missed the whole thing, but FreeRepublic hasn’t been the same.

Today, the biggest subject on the news is the failure of the Obama judiciary to win the prosecution of the terrorist and I only saw one post on the subject. I don’t care about Mitt Romney, one way or the other because I don’t think that he can win the nomination. The Republicans cannot afford to let the Democrats pick our candidate for us again.

This is a conservative site.

Romney is no conservative. He leans too far to the left for most of us.

He's also self-centered and appears to have a mean streak. He is a hindrance to the GOP, not an asset.

I wish Romney would just go away.

Abortion is a key issue for me. Also Romney made a mess of Mass.

But as for kicking people off, I guess that’s up to the Jedi.

Imho, these questions should have been addressed to Jim directly, and also privately. Openly challenging his stated views about what he wants for HIS site is impolite, since we are all guests here.

I honestly don’t see how one can claim to be a true conservative, and not be soundly pro-life.

To: Jim Robinson; All

This is just a warning and one I’ve posted many times in the last couple of years. There will be NO Mitt Romney campaign on FR. Those who try it will be ZOT on sight. Several already have.

FR is a pro-life, pro-family, pro-Liberty site. Those who don’t like it can KMA on the way out the door.

Those who push abortion or commiecare or homosexual rights in my face will be shown the door!! And that includes MittBots!!

Hope you’re reading me loud and clear!!

#####

I believe that is called CLEARLY setting the tone.

Well done.

Reminds me of when President Bush, in a breath of refreshing politically incorrect statesmanship, decisively acted to run terrorist asses into the ground, the world over.

I think that's why it's called an opus.

Jim, I think your natural good nature has prevented you from making your intentions really clear.

Stop being Mr. Nice Guy and say what you really think.

“I wonder, if Romney somehow becomes the Republican candidate opposing Commander Zero, we are to stay home and not vote? As a protest or something? Or vote for a third party candidate?”

Sadly, I think the answer would be yes.

FReepers would take a moral stand and ensure election of an even worse candidate, with gawd-awful democrat punitive tax policies, anti-business regulations, anti-religion administrative over-lays and biases, anti-personal freedoms, anti-civil liberties and pro-socialist agendas.

But hey, at least they didn't back a pro-abortion candidate.

Their moral stand would not save one innocent life from being aborted. Not one. And would cost the American people in terms of freedom, liberty and ensure continuation (and expanded) abortion “rights.”

This website doesn’t support Socialist backstabbing liars like Slick Willard. If you wish to support Willard, you can leave FR and start your own website and pimp him to your heart’s content.

This place is filled with DUummies, Apple pimps, semi-satire nonsense, daily devotionals to scammy tv evangelists, defense industry pimps and TV lovers.

And bitter, judgmental foreign whack-jobs.

Don't forget those.

Yer losin' it, Francie...

Romney will become the nominee when angels fly out of all of out butts. Don’t worry about that at all.

I honestly don’t see how one can claim to be a true conservative, and not be soundly pro-life.

By never claiming to be either, they talk about being "good" Republicans.

"Good" Republicans are responsible for great nominees like Ford, Dole and McCain.

Sorry, those are the three attacks I’ve seen in the article headers. If there are others, I apologize for not noticing them. Those are the three I remember seeing, the 1994 abortion video, the election video, and the 2005 video.

By jolly, I believe you're beginning to catch on.

FR is a pro-life, pro-family, pro-liberty constitutional conservative site.

Abortionists, gay rights activists, Statists, RINOS, RudyBots, RomneyBots, et al, can KMA!! They're NOT wanted here!!

Agreed. We are looking at another election in 2012. Our country is in incalculable danger from the Left, and some here seem to think that Free Republic is some kind of “debating society”. I just don’t get it.
