In normal seasons I would throw up my hands totally by now.
What convinced me this year was the Arkansas game. Their defense is no chopped liver, as you are aware.
Down 43-37 in the 4th qtr, Auburn scored 28 points in 5 minutes to win 65-43. I had never seen anything like it before.
You are correct that Bama can not take this lead for granted.
We had the AU network on with CBS on mute.
So who do you think will win tomorrow with LSU and Ark? And what will that do to the SEC West?
We have begun to play better. A lot can happen after the half. You are right, Freep, each team is very explosive. We tend to play each other down to the wire.
“worst use of discretion by an official I’ve ever seen.” That said, it isn’t the cause of the score.
I will give LSU only a slight edge. They are both formidable foes.
CBS just said the call on Fairly in first quarter for excessive celebration was the “worst call - of Referee discretion - he’s seen in 10 years!!!” I AGREE!!!
That call against Fairley was odd. Everything contributes to the overall game. I suspect it will the subject of much discussion during the next year.
All is well . . . except the score and the way Auburn is playing at half time . . . yuck. At work but watching the game in the Board room. Bunch of Alabama fans watching the game at my house . . . glad I’m at work!!!!
How about you guys??
Did they Au network say anything about the pass being completed? Someone blew it on that... they should have asked for an instant replay....
I am listening to them. Sometimes I don’t agree with what they say. It looked to me like the ball was caught inbounds and the call should have been challenged. I don’t know why it wasn’t.
We are good. Spending a good deal of time in Auburn these days, because we have one in school there.
Good to see you on this thread.
I was not watching or listening at that point. I am going to grab some lunch and head back down to the den for the second half.
Auburn’s bad pass defense is why they’d have no chance against Boise State which has an NFL QB and two NFL wide-outs.
Lunch? We’re about to have dinner - LOL! We’ve been up since 5 a.m. EST - My teenagers had to go out for Black Friday shopping :)
Oof! Newton sacked again. Our front four must do better than this.
That was good.
Whoohoo!!
We scored on the second play of the second half.
Now, DEEEEE-FEENSE!
Good to run into you was well. Thank you for speaking up. BTW, I think you talked to my Brother a good while the night we all met in B’ham. His middle son just finished a tour in Afghanistan, is back at his base in Italy, and will be home for Christmas. We are relieved and thankful.
Have a great Christmas.
10-point game. But they have the ball and our defense hasn’t done well at all today.
