Is this guy upset because he is looking at what happy people do with another when he only gets to do that to make babies?

I think so.. I don’t like porn, but I don’t think the Government should be telling me what I should or shouldn’t watch.. To me Government is much worse than porn..

Bringing an entirely new meaning to “This is FiOS. This is big.”

It looks like Verizon is doing the same garbage Romney did at Marriott.

You paid $12.95 to watch a video of Romney at a Marriott Hotel? Huh?

That is a tremendous leap. It’s a similar tactic used by liberals in trying to reframe a debate of conservative principles using the extreme in order to gain the support of simpletons that choose to remain ignorant, or those that use this technique in order to win because evil feels good.

The only inference one could draw from my post, is it is in everyone’s interest to (1) do the research, then (once they have deduced it isn’t a 1st Amendment issue), (2) take appropriate action at the local level specifically on the PORN issue.

Why are you defending porn?

Kevin, I don’t think one poster, including me, has advocated government involvement in this.

Why do you think porn is a good thing?

Even with all that stuff available for free. Go figure.

Somebody's buying the it.

Even with the free stuff on the internet, the adult entertainment industry generates domestic revenues in excess of $10 billion each year.

If it wasn't profitable, it wouldn't be worth the headache for Verizon (or Marriott) to offer it.

No, you're not. You are objecting to people objecting to a particular corporate policy.

I agree. Unlike Logo, the gay movie channel which comes with some cable packages whether you want it or not.

“I had my satellite shut off 2 years ago - it kept creeping up and got to n ave of $90 a month - new customers could get an introductory deal - but old customers can get hanged”

Ya. Verizon FIOS has done the exact same to us. Occasionally, I call to cancel and they throw a bone like free HBO for 90
days or some other lame thing.

It will be a sweet day indeed when I can tell them buh bye for good. However my kid likes iCarly so for now I’m stuck.

yeah, mine - Direct TV - offered me 6 months of ‘standby’ on my account in case I changed my mind. they did for a year and I half until i finally convinced them to get lost.

Now I get their monthly offers at really low rates - and we know how that works.

no thanks

Sounds like pretty much the same thing as Comcast on-demand - “adult” movies ordered as pay-per-view, parental controls to block whatever you want, and regular on-demand movies scrubbed of all nudity and other likely objectionable material....
