December already? Wow! Where did the time go so quickly?!?
Started out the month with an early morning dentist appt for a root canal. It’s kinda tough trying to drink a cup of coffee with numb lips.
If we keep getting these cold temperatures, we might wake up to some snow. We’ve only had snow twice since we moved here way back in ‘87. I’m satisfied to just see the snow-capped Sierras on a clear day.
I read about the bear and the wolf.....wasn’t it sweet?
Make it a Warm Fuzzy one!
Enjoy your day!
Adorable kittens and poetry, Jack. Thank you!
Amy, I worked on one post with snow and something was wrong in my commands and I stayed with it almost an hour and finally had to delete it. I did ask Billie about it and she quickly showed me the error of my ways....LOL!
So later, I completed one to post finally! Its funny what you can forget in 9-10 months, isn’t it? Now, I think it’ll be okay.
I loved all your snowy graphics today....very pretty!! I am getting ready to go pick up something to eat....haven’t decided what yet!! I am warming up my car....its so cold!
Bottle of Wine
A woman and a man are involved in a car accident on a snowy, cold Monday morning; it's a bad one.
Both of their cars are totally demolished, but amazingly neither of them is hurt.
God works in mysterious ways.
After they crawl out of their cars, the man is yelling about women drivers.
The woman says, 'So, you're a man, that's interesting - I'm a woman!
WOW, just look at our cars! There's nothing left, but we're unhurt. This must be a sign from God that we should be friends and live in peace for the rest of our days.'
Flattered, the man replies, 'Oh yes, I agree completely, this must be a sign from God!
But you're still at fault ... women shouldn't be allowed to drive.'
The woman continues, 'And look at this, here's another miracle. My car is completely demolished but this bottle of wine didn't break.
Surely God wants us to drink this wine and celebrate our good fortune.
She hands the bottle to the man.
The man nods his head in agreement, opens it and drinks half the bottle and then hands it back to the woman.
The woman takes the bottle, puts the cap back on and hands it back to the man.
The man asks, 'Aren't you having any?'
The woman replies, 'No. I think I'll just wait for the police...'
MORAL OF THE STORY:
Women are clever, evil witches.
Don't mess with them.
LOL!!! I just got it in my email too. I didn’t see the punchline coming.
Well, that was adorable, yorkie. I shook those kids quite a bit...LOL!
I had those kids bouncing off the walls. They had a ball.
Thanks for the link.
Hope you are having a WF Wednesday.
I should give up on today and go take a nap.
Yoo Hoo .... Calling Weinie.
It’s Warm Fuzzy Wednesday .... where is Weinie today?
Thats a new frame, isn’t it? Its so lovely with that pretty red bird in it!
I don’t think I’ve posted that red bird. It was made in PSP instead of PhotoImpact. I think I had forgotten about it and found it while looking for something wintery. :)
I’m not feeling much like doing anything this afternoon, tho I still have pings to answer.
Top of My Comments just now, and THIS is TOO, TOO cute! I love it, yorkie! See, people that can do that stuff just amaze me! And you have such a knack for FINDING these things!
Ahhh ... poor Weinie.
Tell Lonestar that you need some time here when Amy’s isn’t full of cats! :)
I think winter has arrived. It has been cold this past week.
BTW ... FreeKitty was looking for you. :)
What sweet little fluff-balls. Thanks, Cat Man! :)
Beautiful, Gail. Thank you.
Hope you are staying warm as you enjoy a Warm and Fuzzy Wednesday.
Thats adorable, lonestar...er, uh, was it Weinie??
That was Weinie!...but one of my favs. I think it was recorded in 1954. I heard this version in a Mexican restaurant yesterday! LOL!
Gail, I just now listened to this and was so very touched. To think, Brad Paisley wrote that song when he was a little boy and wasn’t he good singing it? Thank you and I want everyone to hear this one! Thank you so much!
Well, we needed a little more snow to wake us up this evening! I love your little angel graphic by the way!!!
I don’t know, Amy. Where is Weinie, lonestar?
We haven’t seen Lonestar but Weinie checked in at #69. :)
This was so sweet, teenie!
Hope you got rid of the malware - did you download "Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware program? I use that and PC Matic together (thanks to lonestar!) and it really seems to do a good job in addition to regular virus program.
I think MrJust received a copy of Golf for Dummies for his birthday a few years ago. Doubt that he ever read it. :)
Hope you have a fun and safe trip - KNOW you will get lots of pictures!
Thanks, jaycee. I’m also in love with that precious dog in the opener. It’s fun to see Amy go through her Christmas/winter graphics and use some of them again. I also love seeing the beautiful snow falling on our graphics. (I saw your little squirrel and bird! So cute!)
So pretty the way you framed your graphic!
Amy, that is beautiful!
Aha! More snow! Smaller flakes, and more of ‘em. :)
Thank you, Billie.
I think my graphics were all made on PSP. Didn’t get any new ones ready.
I enjoyed playing in the snow today. Thank you for teaching us how to make it snow.
Thank you for the beauty that you have brought to our little place on FR.
Hey, Billie! Yes, I used malwarebytes. It did a great job, and very quickly, after I spent all day trying to manually locate and delete the infected files. It was impossible because some of the bugs were hidden in the registry. Malwarebytes did the trick and it is wonderful to have a clean machine again.
I am trying to get in the mood for Christmas. I am sure I will the closer it gets but, for now, I am just not there yet.
Isn’t it frustrating when you get these malicious files on your computer and you can’t get them off? My son was telling me, at the corporation where he works there are several people who’s sole job it is to keep viruses, malware and spyware off of their computers. Just think of the money and resources that are spent each year on eradicating this stuff, let alone ME, who spent all day in a fruitless attempt to clean my computer. It’s maddening.
Hi jaycee! My computer is fine this morning, thanks to a free program called malewarebytes. It located and removed the varmints off of my computer and all is well. I am so glad my husband found that website. He didn’t know how to get it off my computer himself, but he did the next best thing in locating a program that could.
Thank you, Amy. I’ve never had a pain-free day in my life! LOL! I use to tell my friends that I wasn’t going to do Fall cleaning and would do it in the Spring. Then, when Spring comes, you can use the same excuse to do it in the Fall. If you can still see through the windows, whats the use to clean.....LOL! I wish Maxine was my next door neighbor. teehee!
Now I see your cutie-pie sleepyhead on Post #55. He looks pretty comfy - wonder if he’s got dibs on the chair all the time. :)
LOL! I didn’t see the punchline coming either - asked him if he was sending a subtle (or not so subtle I guess!) message. :)
