Did you hear? For the first time in nearly 16 years, the McRib is available at every McDonalds in the U.S.! Until recently, the BBQ pork sandwich was only available for limited periods at select locations, inspiring websites for fans to track the beloved menu item down. But the McRib is not alone in its cult status. Below are 10 limited-edition foods that elicit cravings in legions of fans...

Some of the others, though, look pretty tasty. I've never heard of Cosi's, but that Thanksgiving sammich looks really, really good!
And everything that comes out of a White Castle kitchen is by definition (well, my definition, anyway) "yummy".
You should try a McEbe sandwich in Japan if you want bad.
#10 (or #1 out of 10) would be Passover Coke, made with real sugar instead of HFCS.
I love Cosi and that sandwich is da bomb. Or rather, da nom. They also make an outstanding Cobb salad. That said, some of the stuff in this article looks nasty.
I tried a McRib back around 1982 and thought it was pretty good. I had not eaten at McDonald’s for maybe 30 years until last year.
I tried it again and the food was awful. I mean awful. I can’t see how they stay in business.
I really like McRib, but I LOVE the Cheddar Melt! Why does McDonald’s refuse to bring this back!
Have a Cheese Plazaburger at the Plaza on Henry St. in Madistan, WI...you’ll thank me later.
Kids, who have a GPS chip that recognizes golden arches before they’re in view of adult eyesight, and
Yep, mmmmm...Plaza burger.
In my misspent youth I found that BBQ pork ribs served in jail were exactly the same thing as McRibs. I don’t mind them but you get tired of having them every wednesday.
Couldn’t disagree more about White Castle (!) but I see that they have sweet potato fries. Now that’s good news and reason enough for me to go there!
Mc Rib is unique. It is not BBBQ.
I’ve had 2 this time around
We now have them at home...... pork swiss steak, A1 rich n hearty sauce videllia onion
Man, you must be reading my mind! The Cheddar Melt is my all-time favorite thing from Mickey D’s.
The rye bun..the grilled onions...*drool*
I’d think rib bones wouldn’t be allowed in slammer food - almost ‘weapon ready’....
Oh, absolutely. Pop (I’m a midwesterner, “soda” sounds funny to me) made with real cane sugar tastes completely different to me than the HFCS stuff.
They served a McRib knockoff in the cafeterias back in college. It had a better “pork-y” flavor than the McRib, but was kinda on the gristly side, too.
Is that the shrimp burger?
I remember the first McDonald’s I ever saw or even heard of. It was in Ft. Walton Bch. around 1960. The hamburgers were 15 cents which was cheap even back then.
I recall being surprised that they were good. My tastes can’t have changed that much. The quality has clearly gone down.
