Posted on 12/08/2010 9:59:04 AM PST by 240B
I'm freezing my butt off. Even with my heater on.
I'm looking at Zero 0 degrees(or lower) as far as the eye can see. And that is with no wind.
I think I could do fine with a little 'Global Warming' right now.
But hey, that's just me.
Those globaloney freaks in Cancun are cold too. They make plans...God laughs.
Where are you?
It’s been 23 years since they first announced that it was happening.
The wind chill has been killing us.
It’s cold here too. Last nite it got all the way down to 50 degrees and probably won’t break 68 this afternoon.
Us, too. I bet we are well over 3 feet since Sunday night. It’s nasty stuff, too, becasue it clogs the snowblower.
Come on 240, get with the program.
Extreme cold is CAUSED BY the globull warming! A tenth of a degree in average temp upwards over 1000 years?-—Global Warming.
Lots of hurricanes? Global Warming.
Few hurricanes? Global Warming.
A really beautiful day...Yep—globull warming.
It’s not “global warming” anymore. It’s “climate change”. And besides, haven’t you heard that global warming is causing the cold weather?
We have the same problem in Wyoming! It is miserable and has been for days and days.
Where are you?
Listen sweetheart, and I mean this in no negative way.
Where I am, is wishing I was with you in Texas.
I heard it’s getting warmer on Mars and Pluto though.
I heard it’s getting warmer on Mars and Pluto though.
I hear Uranus is getting warmer too.
Had our first accumulating snow Saturday night here in eastern NC. I’ve seen flurries this early before, but never seen snow stick this early. The last two winters we had snow and ice all the way into March, all the way down to the Outer Banks.
I’m in Florida, and you’d think AGW would be frying us this far south, but it’s been in the mid 20’s overnight.
Yea I (like you) am fully informed of the duality propaganda.
It is hot because it is cold. It is cold because it is hot.
In fact, I just had a big stinking bowel movement.
You know why?
It was global warming...
I put my hubby's waders on and walked to the United Dairy to get milk for my babies.
We gathered all the neighbors and made snow sculptures. It was a great time.
Now cut that out! :-)
Here is a great read that skewers the global warming fantasy while telling a great story: Fallen Angels
I do not miss lake effect snow, constant shoveling or the damn gray, cold winters of Syracuse!!!!
We are in the fifties today while Friday and Saturday will be in the 70’s with plenty of Texas sunshine.
>I hear Uranus is getting warmer too.
Must be all that Mexican food I ate a few days ago.
If you’re interested, I have a 5 star timeshare on the island of Kawaii, Hawaii... and I would be more than happy to give you a great deal.
It is most prevalent in the master bathroom of algore's house...especially after he consumes large quantities of mexican food and beer.
Cows ain't got nuthin' on algore.
The Missus and I came south(NC mountains) for a visit.
Ten degrees yesterday morning, minus 5 this morning.
Looks like algore has stepped on his privates for sure. The average lows here are about 30 degrees.
The TV folks in Gimmorah say the over night low was fifteen. You figure!
Glad we left this crazzzzzy place.
Caddis the Elder
I gotta read that, thanks!
Well gator, I was stationed at Pearl Habor for two years(and yes, I saw the Arizona).
Quite a tempting offer$. But I’m going to need the unlimited buffet, with the free bar, and the boat cruris first.
Seven straight days of snow, air temps in the 20s and wind chills in the single digits. Our normal high for this time of year is 42. My heart can’t stand to be out in the cold too long; so I’m pretty much stuck inside. I hate it. And the weather guessers in my area say it will be the same all next week.
Al Gore, you are full of chit.

People think about geothermal energy - when they think about it at all - in terms of the hot water bubbling up in some places, but two kilometers or so down in most places there are these incredibly hot rocks, 'cause the interior of the earth is extremely hot, several million degrees, and the crust of the earth is hot.
- Al Gore
Eating Mexican food helps to understand why most of Mexico is located outdoors.
Well, my son went to Syracuse, my other son went to Clarkson, my bro is in Canton and we went to Notre Dame de Pontmain every year to fish....Watertown???
Great, now I have AlGore saying that in his Forrest Gump voice stuck in my head.
That’s an old picture...right??
It will be back in June of next year. It used to be called summer.
It is guarenteed that when the global warming liars meet, the earth is going to freeze. God has a sense of humor.
Yep, yesterday :>)
Between Fulton and Baldwinsville.
I remember when he said that lol.
Oh and BTW, “fire can’t melt steel” I mean like Duh! Come on dude!”
Leftists are idiots. And they prove it every time they open their mouth.
They are so far beneath us. And yet they always consider themselves to be ‘enlightened’ and superior.
What a joke.
Ha. When I google Fulton, NY snow that pictures shows up.
LOL! When can you get here?
Excerpt from Accuweather follows.
Nasty Lake-Effect Snow Event Follows
In the wake of the storm, the coldest air of the season so far, and perhaps the entire winter season, will follow.
Some of the snowbelts downwind of the Great Lakes could easily receive from 1 to 3 feet of new snow next week.
According to Expert Senior Meteorologist Brett Anderson, "The heavy load of snow may cause roofs to fail."
"If the snowfall happens as forecast, it could mean some locations will have 5 to 10 feet of snow on the ground from the most recent lake-effect, the storm and the new lake-effect," Anderson added.
Looks like the parting of the Red Sea....uh winter version
One of my favorites. In less enlightened times, some people actually believed that fire could soften steel. Good thing we have talk show hosts like Rotund Rosie who know better.
Alexandria, New Orleens, Monroe, Shreveport, Plano, Dallas, Austin
Thems my stompin grounds. I haven’t been back for many years.
But if you give me an excuse, I can get there overnight as long as I keep the thusters on maximum. All night long.
