I had almost an exact copy of Jeffersons silver Z-28 in high school.
I totaled it almost the exact same way as Spicoli also.
Wicked cool.
ugh....

I had a BF who raced his 1970 Camero z28 all over New England. He was cool and it was fun.

I was the only kid in school to wear a leather coat, jeans, and ride a motorcycle to school.
And I was still a goof.
All kids in high school are goofs.

I imagine if he was still alive, he would.
He was a kid with a pit crew of buds, who raced anyone he could find. Backk then racing except for the drags, was made up of wealthy guys like Paul Newman, and some kids.
We went everywhere that summer.
Had fun

That reminds me of a HS reunion once. Some guy asked my name, I said Oh, you wouldn't remember me, I was so shy I just tried to hug the walls in the hallway.
He said "Well, it's a wonder I didn't bump into you there".
Sweet guy.

I was the kind that was part of a clique that pretty much went un-noticed in high school.
I was never invited to any reunions{ not that I would have gone anyways}, there was only three photos of me in the yearbook. I walked thru high school like the invisble man.
High school was four years of life I will never get back.

My 10th grade son is in child pysch - he loves little kids. “Plus, there are a bunch of senior girls in it so that’s pretty nice.”
He’s pretty well-rounded. Like his old man. Although I was probably more “well-rounded”. (Run-ins with the police, and severe punishments from my old man provided an entire different view of the world that I doubt my son will ever see.)

Happily, I've found on Facebook that some of the former "cool" people have grown up and turned into NICE people.
SOME of them.
