He didn't get it his way, apparently.

Lucky this didn’t happen at Fudruckers, the jokes would be too easy.

Police said Cannon was reportedly causing a disturbance Thursday afternoon at the restaurant on the city's east side and tried to hit the worker, who swung back. Remember, there are two sides to every story.

Sounds a little like self defense to me.

Yep, a 20 year old needs to defend himself against a 67 year old man.

Well of course they do. Should you just stand there and let someone attack you? If a 67 year old man attacked me I’d fight back.
I’ll go with the witnesses, whatever they say happened.

I agree it's always wiser to gather the facts before deciding to join an angry mob.
Was the “death by homicide” a justifiable self-defense?

Now if he would have gone insider for a burger & cola he would have been killed a lot slower.

Yep, a 20 year old needs to defend himself against a 67 year old man. I guess you'd prefer the 20 year old martyr himself.

No, just be civil and not punch someone.

Jack LaLanne is about 95. I would not mess with him

Wow. That was an ill-informed comment. I know more than a few 70 year olds who could DECK a 20 year old and then continue sipping their beer.
I’m guessin’ you don’t live Out West. :-)

Not to belabor the point, but to punch someone regardless of age in a business establishment is not acceptable.

Huh. The old white guy on the bus was also 67, where he beats up the punk thug.
Sorry though to hear about this old homeless guy. But, if he started throwing fists around, no surprise that the kid wouldn’t try to defend himself. Obviously not how either one of them wanted it to end.

yep, this guy thought a 67 year old wouldn't do any damage to him...

I have a hunch our FRiend doc just hasn’t met up with 60-plussers who still pack a mean punch. They’re as common as cattle out where I’m postin’ from!
