If the question is Lee Marvin or Steve McQueen, the answer is Chuck Norris. With a roundhouse kick to the head.

Best fight scene in any movie, ever. All time. Only Lee Marvin could have pulled it off.

From a woman’s perspective, no man was cooler than Steve McQueen. :)

I second that emotion.

Makes you fully realize the depths of pathetic wimpishness that modern
culture has sunk to nowadays.

No kidding.
About the only manly actors that have come along to take the spots of John Wayne,
Steve McQueen, Lee Marvin etc.....
are Russell Crowe and (IMHO) Will Smith in “I Am Legend”.
And though he’s “seasoned” and backed Obama I do like Morgan Freeman,
but it seems just about everyone does.

I hope there are more, but I just don’t throw my money away at the cinema.

One reason I RARELY put out money at the movie theater is the male
leads are now mostly a bunch of “girly men”.

Having grown up in Oklahoma, I am anticipating seeing Jeff Bridges
acting in the remake of “True Grit”. I hope it lives up to the trailer/adverts.

Thanks for the photo of Bronson and Marvin.

Maybe a month ago my local FOX station aired the original “Death Wish”.

It was ironic/weird that Arizona was the place where the average Joe
knew how to use guns, hence the place was much safer than Bronson’s
(? “Paul Kerry”) New York.

Jack Lord was a damned gun control freak. He used his show to push it to the point of ridiculousness.

Depends on the temperature of the soil where they’re buried, doesn’t it? Of course at six feet down, the temperature might be pretty much the same everywhere, and pretty clammy at that.

Two great guys, real men and gifted actors!!! Loved “em both, Lee Marvin in “Cat Ballou” & “The Dirty Dozen” & Steve McQueen in “Bullet” & “The Sand Pebbles”!!! In the same league with the great ones, John Wayne, Gregory Peck, George Scott, Paul Newman, Gary Cooper, Robert Duval, etc. Not many like these guys out there. Just plenty of “Girly Boys” from head to toe.
