I had allergy induced asthma as a kid. The military treated it by giving me shots, two in each arm every week for seven years.
It worked. Now I regularly talk to parents whose kids have asthma and when I tell them how mine was cured they look at me like I have two heads. Inhalers are not the answer, in fact according to one of my doctors who was on the team that invented them, they are worse and should not be used unless you are dieing.
