A man was chased down by bystanders moments after he allegedly molested an 8-year-old girl in a Walmart store in San Leandro, the second such incident in the East Bay in less than two weeks.
The latest incident happened at the Walmart at 1919 Davis St. at about 7 p.m. Friday, when the girl was shopping with her family. Her brother became separated from them, and the girl volunteered to look for him, police said.
Soon afterward, the girl returned to her mother in tears and said a man had grabbed her from behind and had put his hand down her pants, police said.
She pointed him out to her mother, and the mother notified store employees.

I remember when I was a kid, I could go to the toy section and look around while mom shopped. It seems you can't allow kids to do that any more. (And it seems those kids who do are generally so bratty they tear up the toys.)

How desperate do you have to be to think you just have to grab a girl in a store feel her up and think you can get away with it?

A TSA agent on vacation? (sorry)
Nothing like this ever happened to me when I was a kid, although there was one time when we were in a mall and I had a soda in a Styrofoam cup. So we’re in this toy store and I set my drink down for a moment to look at something. After a minute or so, I picked it up again to take a sip. And one of the store employees said to me “Are you sure that’s yours?” to which I said “Yes.”
I felt insulted by this. Did this lady actually think I would be so dumb as to pick up some random cup in a store and drink from it? Christ, by the time I was 3 years old I knew not to do that.
In San Francisco?? The guy probably thought it was legal, PROTECTED behavior in that sick habitat of freaks and psychos.
You joke but the reality is a TSA agent can do this and not be arrested. Just wonder how many perverts will become TSA agents.

I don’t think merely sticking his hands in the girl’s pants quite warrants the death penalty, although he definitely needs some time behind bars. I mean, how stupid could you possibly be?
But I’d still bet you this guy is an illegal immigrant, along with the guy in the dollar store the other week. Probably best to deport the both of them.
This is California. The perp will be released in weeks. Next time he’ll rape an 8 year old until she bleeds out. Then the majority will still call for tolerance.

I joke but you’re right. They can do this at an airport and not have any ramifications - I too wonder how many perverts get to be TSA agents. I can see some dad waiting around the corner with a ballbat when the guy gets off work.
Sure hope the kid didn't just pick out some random guy...kids always tell the truth, after all.
