PICAYUNE, Miss. A man caught naked in a south Mississippi church cemetery says he was trying to take photographs of spirits. Robert Hurst told The Picayune Item newspaper that he shed his clothes because he believes skin is the best canvas to show spirits' orbs of energy.
The 47-year-old said he only intended to remove his shirt, but he took off all his clothes a move he now calls "stupid."

There’s a head stone joke in here somewhere.
But not on this forum.

Probably too embarrassed (or high on those drugs) to tell them he was lifting a Voodoo curse.

Mississippi sure has some cool old live oak and moss cemetaries...
Annandale church in Gluckstadt
the old cemetaries in Oxford or Taylor
at the old Episcopal church in Pass Christian
my old family plots like Carr Methodist from 1830 at Pineville Smith county or the Sullivans plot in Mize
or my favorite...the old old one on the hill at Grand Gulf between Vicksburg and Port Gibson where all the poor children who died from yellow fever are
eerie
i run naked around outside in my pasture all the time at night...it’s like a dare with me and the lads...when it’s like 10 degrees....run to the bulldog stake or the old antebellum sistern and back...no cemetaries though and Battle of Franklin here has plenty...
if anyone sees a white whale in the moonlight

Ghost hunting is a lot like time travel. You can’t wear clothing when you do it. Don’t know why.

Thank you for another wonderful and very colorful post, wardaddy. I know the kind of cemetary that you’re talking about. We have a very old family cemetary out in the country on the way to the lake house. It’s still being cared for, but I think my great grandmother is the youngest one buried there.
I can honestly say that I’ve never run naked outside, especially when it’s cold. But, I have been skinny dipping and it was the BEST! lol
