Why aren't you doing something to stop DADT from being repealed?

IOW, you think Sarah Palin has some sway with this Congress. What alternate world do you live in? She was responsible for much of the change in the NEXT Congress... but last I noted, the Dims are clearly in control, and the Pubbie Libtards are going along!

“IOW, you think Sarah Palin has some sway with this Congress.”

NO, I think she (and Mike) have sway with the public and can stir up to public to lean on the RINOs in the Senate. It is the public apathy that is letting this go forward.

I’m looking to her and Mike for some LEADERSHIP to use their influence with the public.

I keep clearly stating this is NOT an anti Palin or Huckabee thread. It is a “I like you guys, but get off the fence” thread.

Please don’t post pictures of that pervert Frank on this thread.

Moderator...I know it wasn’t WVKayaker intent to be offensive, but would you please delete the Barney Frank picture from this thread. It degrades the message.

I posted that photo for obvious reasons.

If it is so important to you, why are you not using Federal Express rather than FreeRepublic to post this vanity. I don't know that either of those people spend any time on FR, but I do bet they get mail...

I despise perverts. I am also a Christian, and I think all sexual conduct in the ranks should be grounds for dismissal. Our entire society is so obsessed with sex, and homos are only one part of it. Your vanity on this subject does nothing to forward the argument.

I am sure you can contact these people directly somehow. Posting a vanity here about this is definitely an attempt to bring some discredit. Nice try, but I'm not buying. Maybe you can get up with Willard!

Oh, c’mon. I read a post by a reputable poster saying that Sarah had voiced her disagreement with repealing DADT.

I don’t know what the heck you want, so I thought maybe you wanted her to come over and tell you personally.

I don’t like repealing this but it’s not the most important issue in the world to me.

This should be a priority issue with them.

<><><><><><

Why? Because it is for you?

If either of them are the R nominee against BO, your vote is in the bag for them. And they know it. They need not continue to court you, as they had you from hello.

Not so for the independent voters that they need to vote for them, and for that portion of the electorate, DADT is simply a loser issue (IMO). It will not endear them to the voter on the fence.

You are spreading an untruth. My motive was not to descredit, but exert pressure because many people read FR. If those persons that support these two (which I have) will attempt to push them to take a definitive stand...then their influence might come to bear. I have attempted to contact them both. And have been ignored.

So, you think fighting DADT repeal is a “loser” issue? You sould like a homophile troll to me.

Read slowly this time. It might help with your comprehension issues.

If either Sarah or Huck are the GOP nominee in 2012, they will need the independent voters to vote for them. For that bloc of voters DADT is not a critical issue, and coming out against will cost them more votes than it gets them. (Again just my opinion). And since they are, above all, politicians, votes are their lifeblood. They won't shed potential voters lightly.

And don’t you dare ping Jim on me, I’ve known him a lot longer than you have.

I don’t know Mr. Robinson. You are showing a pro-homosexual position by your apathy.

So, in your opinion, Mike and Sarah would sell out there moral values to appeal to independents. Sounds like a pro-homosexual position to me....at least a libertarian one.

Thank you - they need to speak up and OUT - strongly!

It is now officially (according to me!) that anyone who does not act and speak their conscience is a coward, and part of the problem.

Do ANY of the “conservative” talk show hosts mention this? Or other social issues? Or is it all political horse races and crap?

Sheesh - this lie that Republicans have to "move to the center to get the independents" is just plain not true. In order to get elected, Rs have to at least sound conservative. The moderates lose presidential elections. The fact is, Dems have to sound moderate to win! Would 0bastard have won if he sounded off during the campaign on his real agenda and viewpoints? Hell, no.

Every single time the actual VOTERS are allowed to vote about faggot marriage, guess what! THEY VOTE IT DOWN!!!

This junk about having to be moderate on social issues is a lie used by leftists to ruin the Republican party. It's not any different from the GOProud/Log Cabin Repug's attempts to infiltrate the GOP - and now the Tea Party - to turn them into social leftist arms of the Dem party. In order stay (or become...) alive, the GOP needs to get MORE conservative, not less!

Rush used to talk about some kind of charity for the children of military. A lot of them talk as though they care about the military.

Why aren’t they supporting the military now? When the military needs all of our support? Some R elected guys and gals listen to Rush. Why the heck is he silent? Makes me sick.

READ MY TAGLINE!

Do you have others you can ping?

The apathy on this issue, which I believe is just most libertarian influence here on FR, is starting to scare me. Mike and Sarah want to be the GOP candidate in 2012. Well, this is the time to show me and others they have ALL their priorities right. Go on Facebook and Mike is talking about “Cap and Trade” and Sarah about the “Start Treaty.” Granted that both are important issues, but they need to take some time to help stop this moral madness being pushed on the military. Moral is as moral does.

“Why the heck is he silent?”

I knew Rush had finally sold out when he had Elton John at his wedding.

Everyone here on FR idolizes Ronald Reagan...and they should. However, Ronald Reagan WOULD NEVER have been as silent about this homosexualization of the military as Rush, Sarah, and Mike have been. And a vast host of others.
