Chocolate Chip Bacon Cookies

If you've ever found yourself asking "How can I get more bacon into my life?", this recipe is perfect for you.
I first got this idea when I saw the cookies on an episode of Ace of Cakes. I found a few other recipes online, but I decided to use my favorite chocolate chip recipe, and add bacon.
This recipe yields about 24 cookies.

There are very few things that are not improved by the addition of bacon. I'm not even sure I can think of one. I've got a buddy that says, "Heck, even a dogturd would be good wrapped in bacon."

This is so funny...we received a shipment of homemade goodies today from the US and there was a large Tupperware container of bacon/chocolate-chip cookies included.
I thought, "What a great idea!" as I scarfed a few. The baconylicious flavor permeates the whole cookie and the chocolate chips add the perfect complement of sweetness.
We all got some and they're all gone now. :)
