There you go: in the nineteenth century, there were no entitlments to speak of - only private charity and, at most, city payments. Anyone ending up "uninterested in industrial pursuits" either had to go to the frontier or would be set straight fairly quickly.

Opium,morphine,codeine,laudanum,and heroin are all “opiates.”

My point was that THC, the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana, is that BOTH THC and the opiates have the same effect of reducing the user's desire of making anything productive of himself.

You know,those who only want to lay about and get high while others carry their load—Dem voters for sure.
