We'll have to see if he's correct for the I-95 corridor. Piers is the UK based forcaster that's beaten the UK Met office with winter forecasts. Like a rented mule.

Last week my neighbor shoveled out his yard to get to work rather than take his drive way out. I ended up helping three cars out of my yard because they thought it was the road. I stopped then and let the other nine dig them selves out. Kind of got tired after digging for 4 hours.

Weather models seem to be coming around to the idea of bigger snowfalls in the NE.

Ryan's pretty good at that forecasting stuff too. I remember just a couple days ago the MSM were predicting just a dusting in the NE and along the extreme coast of NC. Seems the storm is moving more westward than they originally predicted. Heads up NE freepers.

We’ll see. Piers has a much better record than the conventional MSM forecasters. He’s also a global warming skeptic. He didn’t forecast anything significant for last week either. If you go to the link, you’ll see this forecast of his was posted Dec 13.

I hope he’s wrong with this one. This will catch many many people off guard because the MSM forecasters just plain stink.

We call that a small dusting here in NE Illinois.

When I lived in Nashville, it didn’t take more than an inch of snow to shut the city down and instigate a run on milk, bread, and other necessities.

I won't argue with that...there is an amateur on AccuWeather that just posted a prediction map of his own that is quite creepy...as long as his wild predictions of 24 - 28 inches stay in Massachusetts and right along the NE coast; I am fine with that. I hate snow.
