I figured as much...it distresses me that people elected to high office are able to ***** on our great Nation and us in the final analysis...I just never figured that folks from my neck of the woods would be found in such a putrid pile at the end of their so called “service.”

It just snowed here, south of Atlanta.

Happy 10 year old.

It melted as soon as it touched the ground.

Sad 10 year old.

Well, relatives in Kosy tell me they had some pretty intense flurries there this morning. I’m sure there were happy kids there. IIRC it was just at freezing some little poofs of it may have actually stuck in places.

Got a little of that white, fluffy stuff here in southeast Tennessee today, and it's still coming down...

Wow. 28” would be quite the departure from the dusting the MSM forecasters were predicting for the area just 4 or 5 days ago. I’ve kept up with this one from the MSM’s point of view just because Corbyn was so succinct in his prediction (snowmageddon!) and his overall track record is very very good. And the MSM couldn’t predict what happens in a cathouse.

Wow. Pretty pretty pretty. My kids would have loved snow today. We were about 120m south of this latest event. Oh well, maybe next time. Just cold and rainy here today.

Wow-— as a lad in the early 60’s my neighbor down the street had the same vehicle but dark green. I bet someone would like to buy it for restoration.

Well, if I get trapped inside; I can keep plenty busy starting more spring crop seedlings like broccoli and cauliflower...ever see how many individual seeds there are in a single packet? Not sure my wife would like the idea of planting 700 or 800 broccoli plants...

I’ve been afraid to start cauli seedlings inside. My MIL tells me they resent being set out later. Let me know how it goes. Sometimes old wives tales are valid, sometimes not.

You won't like this then:

Blizzard to create nightmare travel for NE

Or this:

Blizzard for NE corridor

Looks like Piers was correct. Two weeks ago even. Maybe we should fire our weather guys and hire him instead!

I transplanted nine from a ‘dense planting’ experiemtn yesterday...seem to be fine. I grow mine in containers, though; so your MIL’s advice may not be applicable to my situation. As for snow? Boston south is going to get nailed...wind will probably take my power down.

MIL said they’d not head up properly. She called it ‘button head’. YMMV. I will be watching your experiment closely :)

Have you made your milk/bread/beer/TP run yet?

A white Christmas in S.E. TN, too! We're not but a few miles above the TN/AL state line. We expected no more than a dusting, as that's what we normally get. This was a surprise.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I see where she is coming from...stress them out, dinky heads of cauliflower. I grow 'colored' varieties so I don't have to do the leaf wrap thing to keep them white. Seedlings are looking good, so far...if I get 'button heads'; we'll know they didn't like 'dense planting'. :-)

Anyone that doesn't keep the fridge stocked (along with batteries and toiletries) during winter in the north is just asking for it...even if the power goes, we'll have plenty to eat.
