Hey, I’m gonna try some colored varieties this year too. I’m waiting till just after New Years to direct seed them in my garden and cover them with crop cover and clear plastic for really chilly nights. If it doesn’t work, it was $5 of seeds wasted. I’ve wasted more money on less productive causes before.
not much has changed..they simply do not have the public equipment to deal with snow...and we get ice a bit too which is unmanageable anyhow

It orginally had a straight-8 but when I got it had been replaced by a Pontiac 350 V8.
Here in Austell...it snowed from 11 am and was still going when I fell asleep. Big flakes. It didn’t start sticking till late though. About a 2” blanket this morning...if it had all stuck...there’s no telling how many inches.
We’ve got a couple of inches on the ground now. The kids played in it last night until after dark. Unlike their other presents this one won’t last long.
first snow of the year in central CT and it is a full blown blizzard. Think I will just walk to the diner in the morning and then stay home all day. leave the car home.
I skidded into a fire hydrant this afternoon, and my ‘97 Taurus lost the confrontation. Comical damage. Fist size dent in the front bumper area.

We had snow in Indiana, but not a whole lot of it. It made for a very pleasant white Christmas.
well i was going about 3 mph so injury was impossible.
simply could not get the car to stop on the downslope and by the time i hit the curb, i was right on top of the hydrant. They do not have padding.
i would be pissed if i had a new car.
