I would assume she’ll list Alaska as her primary residence. But, she has primary custody of the child. Not sure what the rules are in Alaska regarding proximity.

Do we know where Chelsea Clinton lives or how much she and her new husband paid for a house?
Do we know where Bush’s daughters live or how much they paid?
Do we know whatever happened to Amy Carter, and how much her house cost, and where it is?
Bristol Palin did not call a press conference to announce or publicize this. This was discovered in the public property files, which some reporter somewhere had to put in the media.
Then the entire MSM decided to pick up the story. But what is so newsworthy about political child Bristol Palin that is not newsworthy about other political children?
And I thought the liberals have told us that the children, even adult children, are off limits????? What the heck???

I agree with you in principle BUT didn’t she kind of open the door when she went National on TV?
She was ‘propelled’ to the spotlight by way of her mother, but she also used that ‘fame’ as a stepping stone.
Can’t imagine her getting the ‘breaks’ as plain old Bristol Levy without ‘leaking’ who her mother is.

I doubt McCain figures into this at all. I’d say her possibly attending the Communications School at ASU is a better reason for the location (and perhaps some extended family nearby) than some convoluted McCain-Bush payback scheme.
I was wondering if she intends to go to college in the area and that might be one reason for the purchase (other than the weather of course).

He sure is, and when I lived in Maricopa COUNTY, he was the Sheriff. The home the Palins purchased is in the city of Maricopa, in Pinal county.

If the previous owner wanted to avoid foreclosure, there's a simple process referred to as "paying the mortgage". If his circumstances changed or he was one of the morons who bought more than he could afford by using an adjustable mortgage (some idiot mortgage brokers tried to talk me into one of those during the boom), what consequences did he EXPECT other than not being able to live there any more?
