During the twenty-two months since that first Denver Tea Party, she interviewed many participants at an assortment of Conservative events on video to capture the essence of the Colorado Tea Party Movement.
Her consistent question to the participants, "Why are you here?", helps to give an in depth overview of the movement from a Colorado perspective.
Jenny also welcomed Daren Gardner of the Constitution Ride across America 2010 on her Blog Talk Radio Program as well as Amy Philo who is the foremost activist against the Mothers Act, who shared insights about Freedom and the Health Care Debate.

I finally took the time to edit all of my footage from the past two years into a one hour digital documentary.
Thanks to all of the teaparty participants who allowed themselves to be interviewed for this movie.
Tea Party. New Years Revolution.-—Throw the Bums Out!
It surprises me that the Tea Party did not have much effect on the Senate or Governor seats. The House went 3/4 Democrat which was ok but not great either. Just a surprise to a used to be reliable red state.
Hi Jenny! Congratulations! Great to find you here as a fellow Coloradan/FR Filmmaker. I will private message you.

I believe the “election theft” machine in Colorado has been perfected by the Progressives in our state.
Ken Buck was polling five percent ahead the week of the election.
It is the Provisional ballots that are problematic in Colorado. When you have thousands of citizens deciding at the last minute, “hey, I want to participate in this thing called politics” and then they drop off ballots after the election, mostly for dem candidates, something stinks....
I would like to see much greater participation by tea party members in the poll watching, vote tallying, and overview of the secretary of state side of politics in Colorado. I would also challenge the Colorado State Legislature to create rules that would make it impossible for voter fraud to take place.
This could include:
1. Only allow voting on the day of the election, with a “purple finger” type of proof that only one vote has been cast.
2. No Provisional ballots, if you are too lazy to register to vote in a timely way before the election, you lose the ability to participate.
If these two principles were set in place, no one could steal an election.

I was thrilled to read about the Constitution being read to start the new Congress: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/12/29/AR2010122901402.html
“When Republicans take over the House next week, they will do something that apparently has never been done before in the chamber’s 221-year history:
They will read the Constitution aloud.
And then they will require that every new bill contain a statement by the lawmaker who wrote it citing the constitutional authority to enact the proposed legislation.
Call it the tea party-ization of Congress.”
It is nice to know that some of the new Congresspeople heard our message these past two years.

I’ve been playing around with digital media for the past couple of years. I wasn’t planning to make a movie when I started documenting tea party events back in 2007, but as I watched the variety of footage and the many different reasons that people took the time to show up, I thought it would be good to share the interviews in one big movie.
I was able to interview a little boy at a Grand Junction Health Care townhall attended by President Obama as well as a variety of patriots from all over the state of all different ages and political perspective. I also took many photos of individuals who attended, and they also have a “voice” in the movie.
Share a link to your work, I would love to see someone else’s efforts to document Conservative Content. With so many in the media willing to discredit, ignore, and misrepresent us, I believe these movies take on much more significance as we move forward.
I was thinking the same things about the TEA Party not doing well in Colorado. I hope that Colorado doesn’t become a “blue state”, like Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Illinois, Vermont, Connecticut, California, Oregon, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington state.
Maybe it’s just me but I truly believe that Patriots like
Christians just sound—and look more attractive than anything the other side has to offer. You and your family are welcome at our house anytime —T’anks for the video.
“I was thinking the same things about the TEA Party not doing well in Colorado.”
The cool thing about the Colorado Patriots is that they are so passionate. I have lived in Boulder County for the past 19 years and I have met some of the most articulate, passionate Conservatives ever. I believe living in the belly of the beast, surrounded by leftists at every juncture forces us to be that much more articulate about our positions because of the die hard passion of the other side.
“You and your family are welcome at our house anytime Tanks for the video.”
You are very welcome! I loved editing the footage, it brought back some great memories from the past two years. Colorado Patriots are the best!
