$143K is more than our house cost 3+ years ago...throw in about 4 years of Catholic school tuition for our 3 oldest kids and then we’re there ;)
Mr. HCM and I tied the knot for under $2000, and we’re coming on 16 years this March.
That’s a man baby!
I'm really surprised some investors have not offered Detroit hard cash to outright buy and incorporate as a new city, a couple square miles of Detroit to develop into livable communities
There probably isn't a place in America where land is cheaper that already has built in infrastructure and access to several large cities
Something tells me the concept of "true love" is beyond the understanding of both of these two people.
Money problems and romance come and go but a good blood feud lasts forever.
This would only work if the group of investors called themselves Omni Consumer Products, the new city Delta City, and they built a robot to police it. Even then, it’s dicey.
Yes, but the version I heard of that truth is exponentially more vulgar.
Butt-titta, (snort!)
“From this picture would vote
NOT GUILTY!”
Thank goodness juries are composed of more than one person.
“If it were up to me, my wife and I would have eloped and honeymooned in Vegas or something instead of that luxury Carribean cruise that took us five years to pay off. “
Car camping for a week in my case - it set a good tone for our marriage of 20+ years (and counting).

Can’t do it...it’s all in the crime. Get rid of the crime, and the problems end. But you have to vote in people that would re-enslave blacks (as they see it) by putting the bad guys in jail for a long time. And guess who votes...game over.
In some parts of the Houston area, that would buy you a pretty nice, brand new 2500 SF house.
It appears she might have misled him about her depression, and that would constitute fraud; so he should get the ring back.
>>And remember, behind every beautiful woman is some man who is sick of putting up with her.<<
LOL, but I’m pretty sure the same thing could be said about ugly women too.
Actually, depending on the state she gives it back no matter WHO breaks it off. In some states, if the groom breaks it off, she keeps it. If she does, he gets it back but on Judge Judy she has to give it back no matter what LOL
It would clearly have to be a gated community with high walls (return to the middle ages) as all the close in suburbs would present an ongoing crime problem.
It’s a gift given in contemplation of marriage. Not a regular ole gift so if the marriage doesn’t take place, in those states where it says so, it has to be given back.
Not necessarily so. It is in contemplation of marrige. No marriage, return the ring. This has been sued on over and over in small claims, and in a high percentage of cases, the ring goes back to the giver.
Wonder if she’s going to casn it the ring to get her beak fixed?.
My thoughts as well. Gated city with moat filled with piranha !
