I have had the flu a number of times (until I started taking the flu shot) but the worst was in 1957. I was 17 and I was so sick I was delirious, high fever, headache, body aches, chest congestion, racking cough, you name it I had it. I was as weak as an infant when I finally got out of bed. Did the ‘57 flu have a name?

Did the 57 flu have a name? I don't if it had a name, but many people who die from flu outbreaks are young people with very strong immune systems. They die from the strong response.

Did the 57 flu have a name? You had the Rockin' Pneumonia which developed from the Boogie Woogie Flu.
Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

I’m in my early 50’s and i don’t ever remember getting the flu and I’ve never had a flu shot. I better knock on wood — your experience sounds awful.
