Lindsay Graham Continues His Big Government Green Republicanism
Master Resource ^ | 1/10/11 | E. Calvin Beisner

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has found another disguise for lining the pockets of “alternative energy” producers with consumers’ dollars directed there not by rational economic choices but by government mandate.

Once a supporter of cap and trade, Graham now supports a “Clean Energy Standard” that would require utilities to generate increasingly high percentages of electricity from “renewable” sources like wind, solar, and biofuels, from nuclear, and from coal using “carbon capture and sequestration”—catching the carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted when coal burns and forcing it, under pressure, into deep geological formations for long-term storage to keep it out of the atmosphere.

A variation on that theme suggested by Entergy Corp. head Wayne Leonard in the Wall Street Journal suggests that we begin with the seemingly innocuous step of increasing U.S. production ...

Both Enron and BP were pushing for carbon cap and trade back in the 90’s in Clinton’s office.

It seems that even Arnie has been quite the ‘girly man’ when it comes to ‘Big Green’ issues.

NJ just spent tens of millions to put up solar panels over tens of acres of land. The total electric output in one year from these panels could power 36 houses. For the same space and money one could have built a small natural gas plant and provide power for 130,000 homes.
My question to greenies is how is the US going to compete against another country using fossil fuels when our energy costs is about 3600 to 1.

South Carolina is one of the biggest states for nuclear power. Obviously, Grahamnesty knows it.

They do not care. They are purposefully trying to de-industrialize the US, and this can only be done by attacking gas and oil.

He’s a progressive. It’s that simple. The progressives who call themselves Republican are simply socialists who think they have a better path to one world, socialist government. But whenever there is a dispute between the socialists and those who would take us back to a constitutional, limited governments, the progressives, Republican and Democrat, join together to fight it. That’s why the socialists in a hurry, the Democrats, don’t attack the Republican progressives, unless they dare to try to win the Presidency. Only then were Dole and McCain bad guys.

Lindsey Graham, another traitor, career politician, elitist, establishment RINO. He and all his ilk are not for, but against, our democratic Republic and only FOR enhancing their own fat pockets as they move forward their lobbyist funded globalist agendas.

The enemies within.

You will know a tree by its fruit.

Another perfect example of why term limits should be mandatory!

Our founders never intended public service as a lifetime career, but rather intended our elected to be volunteers, servants of the people, patriots serving in our public offices then returning to tend to their own bussiness.

Green is just another issue invented by the communists to try to destroy American society. There is a difference between green and conservationist. The latter has been around for a long time, long before commies tricked hippies into the “green” fad.
