The President gives his SOTU speech Tues. night, and for me, the best part of the evening will be seeing House Speaker BOEHNER sitting behind him, and NOT Speaker PELOSI!
Hope everyone in the areas covered by the Arctic cold is staying warm and safe as can be.

Cold weather I don’t like, I spent 3 years in Alaska in the 50’s, loved every minute of it, snowed hard and deep. I would partake o few beers in those years, would take a six pack of beer, put it on the window sill fow a few minutes and the would be cold.

Forgot to tell you, getting ready to redo the chicken shack and yard, move it back a litle more from the big house. I am letting them free range and have to search for eggs all over the yard, tired of this. This means as soon as the weather gets back to normal going to rake up lots of pine needles for the laying boxes. I am ashamed of myself for neglecting the chickens.

Snow isn’t expected here, either, but we have at least 24 hours of rain expected. This is a good thing.

Good Morning everyone. Boy, tonight I’m going to busier’n a one-armed paper hanger doing something, probably watching a tv movie. Roomey will be listening to the great pontificater. After the exhausting absorbing of the Mess-I-AWH’s words, he and I will listen to the rebuttal.
Oh, ok. I was just concerned. Thank you for the hefty breakfast. This a.m. we’re having either my half of a steak from last night and eggs or a fritata. Rommey is still snoozing. Retirement life,,,you know.
This morning Greg made a great omelette with leftover steak, onions and mushrooms.

I heard earlier this morning that you intend to sit with a democrat at the State of the Union speech tonight.I am so utterly disappointed in you if this is true.
I do not want you to appease or get along with any portion of the President's or democrat agenda. I elected you to OPPOSE them as they are wrong more often than they are right.
Symbolically, you need to sit apart from them to show how distant they are from your constituents.
I'm sure it will not change his mind, but at least I have contacted him about it. In my mind, he was equal to Sessions, but now he has slipped down to between Sessions and Shelby. Shelby is only a gnat's eyebrow above being a RAT.
