Amazing to me as a private pilot I shouldn’t be bothered by that, but it gave me the willys. I guess in an aircraft it is just different. I was ok until he left the caged area, then the pucker factor went sky high.
A station in TX I worked for and a tiny one man elevator up to the 1700 foot level. It was sort of a “rite of passage” for new reporters.
It was “fun” to look DOWN on a passing 182!
