Yes, the conservative fans of the heartland apparently turned away in droves.
I am not a fan of the show but I found DeGeneres’ appointment bizarre. She has no connection to the music industry. She is a comedienne.

Ah, thanks for the prompt response. I don’t watch much TV and had no idea, but, my interest was piqued. The conservative movement is finally waking up enough to vote with their feet and dollars, instead of so many just taking what is presented to us. Thankfully!
