Condi's speech in Cairo 2005 is an American Classic! Compare this to zer-O's Cairo speech.

The way Hillary talked today, she likes it.
No, everyone knows it was right wing talk radio!
In other words - Bush’s Fault!
W took a lot of grief re: Iraq. Could the ME be turning democratic because of what we did in Iraq?
I don’t think this can be blamed on us one way or the other...but they’ll try.
I don’t think this is blame. I think this is credit.
This isn’t the Muslim Brotherhood. These are educated and connected young adults who’ve had a taste of freedom.
What’s going on in Egypt is a good thing! It’s not the Muslim Brotherhood or the Iranian Revolution. These are young people who want the freedom they see in Iraq.
...that all depends on how it turns out, doesn’t it.
Delusional Wilsonianism is no way to go through life young man.
JB, Sheriff of the planet. Noone does it better.
How can people taking control of their own destinies turn out wrong?
Back that statement up as pertaining to ANYTHING I’ve said or POUND SAND!
Watch the MSM! Zer0 will get total credit for the uprisings of the Arabs, based on his Cairo speech!
But, only if it comes out ok. Hardliner Condi and Bush will be villified, regardless of the outcome!
Redwood99, educated youth? Are you kidding me. It’s total proverty. Look at the videos streaming. There are no cars on the road. No sidewalks. No shops, businesses doing commerce. These are mooslimbs activist pushing sharia everywhere they can plain and simple
Let me add REDWOOD99....You Lie!

"I'm crushing your head....I'm crushing your head...crush...crush....crush..."
Are you saying it’s better to have Mubarak in power than have a government the people of Egypt support?
“Violent Overthrow?”
POUND SAND Rag head. Have a nice weekend.
Ask the Iranians, the Chinese, the Russians, the Cambodians, the French...and anyone else who’s had a ‘revolution’ that has turned into a bloody totalitarian nightmare.
Amen.
Educated and poor are not mutually exclusive. Poverty when there is money to be had is begging for a revolution.
I beg to differ with your “plain and simple” explanation.
I lie?
I don’t think this is the same thing. The world is going a different direction.
Rag head?
And having a degree doesn’t make one smart.
The islamist will promise to be a river to the people.
Until they have the iron fist.
No one ever does. Revolutions seldom turn out according to the designs of the revolutionaries.
A liberal democracy is an anathema to Islam. To think otherwise goes against experience. The predominant goverments in Muslim countries are a dictatorship of theocracy or secularism.
No, yes & yes. It really is that simple for people not blinded by the state run media and people like you. I’m not saying Murbarki is a good thing but the animals in the street remind me of the fall of the Shah. You may be too young to remember, but I do.
The speed at which events are evolving in the ME and Obamas willingness to make rash decisions are how bad things happen.
Just where was obama on the uprising in Iran?
Oh that’s right... he said bupkis.
How about NK Killing 46 SK sailors in a n act of war? Again Bupkis.
Did Obama chide Hu Jinto the other week about human rights?
No. He threw him a party.
Next up, the commies in SA.
Chavez will be pleased.
When they vote someone like Ayman Al-Zawahiri into office as their president....
Well, she was right.
We have been asking Egypt to reform for the last decade so as to avoid this and now the conflagration has been joined in three other countries.
The King of Jordan is a good man and sensitive to his people. He may well finesse change without too much damage to the country.
The house of Saud will put down the rioters like dogs and be done with it.
We don’t need this right now. We just completed Iraq and are still trying to hold the thing together while we pressure Iran.
Egypt is a friend and strategic partner. The results of chaos are generally not what one imagines or desires.
We don’t need a broken Egyptian government who attacks Israel while bringing Syria into play. Big mess.
Gotta revisit this 10 years from now under more favorable conditions.
I know Mubarak aint no saint, but has anybody heard what the complains of the people are?
He has been in power for 30 years.
Has there been a sudden shift in his policy?
I was trying to find an old quote (perhaps from Jefferson, maybe Franklin) about that, where they said something like the American Revolution was a rarity in how it turned out. A lot of that is I think Providence, and also having virtuous leaders. Not sure that applies in Egypt today.
Here is a sort-of applicable quote:
“The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions that I wish it to always be kept alive. It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all.” — Thomas Jefferson, 1743-1826

scary, a'int it?
"No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the invisible hand which conducts the affairs of men more than the people of the United States. Every step by which they have advanced to the character of an independent nation seems to have been distinguished by some token of providential agency...We ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of heaven cannot be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right, which heaven itself has ordained."
Here's another fine one:
"It appears to me
little short of a miracle, that the Delegates from so many different States ... should unite in forming a system of national Government, so little liable to well founded objections."
No, yes & yes. It really is that simple for people not blinded by the state run media and people like you. Im not saying Murbarki is a good thing but the animals in the street remind me of the fall of the Shah. You may be too young to remember, but I do.

They are going to use the poverty of the people to put themselves into power ... then things will REALLY get BAD for the people.
And if Egypt ends up as another Iran?
The Brotherhood views them as “Useful Idiots.”
So you you are thinking this is more like when communism (Muslim Brotherhood) hijacked the Russian revolution than the American Revolution?
Where are the 350 American Hostages? That is what made Iran so bad. We would have cared less what was going on in Iran had the hostages not been part of it. Same with Egypt. Unless we take casualties or hostages no one really cares. Now of course I have been to Egypt on vacation and it was great but their politics are going to change one way or the other.
Condi?Naaah!!But I’m sure somewhere...flittng about in the usually empty recesses of a liberal mind...its occurred to someone its all BUSH’S FAULT!!!
