She specialized in Mozart. I found a lot of clips which I will listen to later tonight. The one I just listened to her showed her singing with a clear, pure, but exciting high soprano voice, just right for Mozart.

I guess we never heard much of her because she always kept and returned to her base at Covent Garden....a real loyalist to the "sceptred Isles" passing away at her home in Wales.

My cousin who lives in Chingford, a London suburb, was a basso profundo who also sang at Covent Garden....I'm going to email him to see if he knew her.
