Hell, I drove through Philadelphia traffic a few years back and a truckload full of overweight chain-smoking trailer parkers saw my Yankees hat (or my sticker, I’m not sure). They proceeded to pull out a magic marker and a piece of paper (why this was handy in the truck I’m not sure) and scrawl YAN...KEES...SUCK on three separate lines on the paper and hold it out the window, behind or to the side, to make sure I could see. They did this for about 30 minutes while we were in traffic. I’m not even sure what to say about that.
Yeah...but that was in the past. Now the Steelers are one of the best teams in the NFL....like it or not....

As a matter of fact, genius, there WERE no charges and will BE no court case. Upon investigation it was decided that no evidence of a crime existed. In other words, some classy “I want big money for a little piece of a$$” failed in her attempt at extortion. Although top-flight quarterbacks are rare, skank females will be with us always.

Funny thing is, they were one of the worst franchises in the NFL for nearly the first 40 years of their existence. They were the team who kept Ted Marchibroda and cut Johnny Unitas. They didn’t have a single playoff appearance from 1933-1972.
Not exactly. 1972 was their first playoff season. That was the year of the Immaculate Reception. I was in an end zone seat behind the Steelers. The next week, we played the Dolphins in the AFC championship. It was 72 friggin’ degrees in Pittsburgh in late December!!! Unbelievable!! I went to the game in a short sleeve shirt. That was the Dolphins perfect season and they had to resort to a fake punt to beat us! 15 degree Pittsburgh weather and the 72’ Dolphins might have been 15-1 and the Steelers could have gone to the Super Bowl. Seems God was a Dolphins fan that year.
Barry Hussein Soetero and AlGore were given Nobel prizes just as the Steelers have been given two Super Bowls. It does not mean they earned them in any way. The only pedigree the Steelers have is they rely on the refs to win playoff games. The refs screwed Dallas out of one Super Bowl in the ‘70s and the Seahawks got ripped off a few years ago by the most incompetent and biased pro-Steeler officiating ever seen by NFL fans. The Steelers and their crappy biased refs belong in the NBA, not the NFL.
Gloat away. The fans of all the other NFL teams that earn their victories know better.
Because I’m a die-hard bears fan and I hate the “universally loved Packers” I’m going to be bleeding black and gold next weekend! GO STEELERS!

There’s also the fact that the bathroom was scrubbed for probably the first time in the club’s existence. Oh, and a star-struck police officer who posed for pictures with Ben hours before he was approached by the victim immediately sided with Roethlisberger, swearing and insulting her. He also informed them that Roethlisberger has a lot of money and a case wouldn’t go anywhere. He eventually resigned under threat of being fired.
The guy is as guilty as can be. Yet here we have these jackass Steeler fans essentially saying a) it’s OK to rape intoxicated women and b) promiscuous women can’t choose who they sleep with. It’s sickening and it’s even more pathetic that it’s all because of a little brown leather ball.

What exactly do you get from the Steelers winning games? Is your own life that pathetic that you are somehow energized by an arbitrary sports team winning championships?

I can’t tell if you’re actually this stupid or you’re just being satirical. You can never tell with Pittsburgh fans (and I suspect you’re a native as well).
If you think rape or sexual assault is this trivial, then I hope your wife/daughter/granddaughter finds herself in a seedy bathroom with Ben Roethlisberger and his exposed genitalia. We’ll see what you think of it then.
