Looking to upgrade from a basic life membership to Patron or Benefactor. Is there any benefit to the new level?
Yeah. It means you get to give more money to Harry Reid.
I think you could count on getting more fundraising junk mail from NRA-ILA .......
Once you upgrade to a higher level, then they come back and ask you to upgrade to an even higher level. The only thing I get is more mail begging for more money.
When LaPierre kisses Harry Reid’s butt, they’ll send you a Scratch-n-Sniff.
Gun Owners of America.
I am going to be honest. I have been a Life Member for many years. I also have contributed extra funds until I am blue in the face, and the only thing that I have gotten from it is a jacket, a hat, and a whole lot more requests for more money.
You ask: “Is it worth it?” In one word... NO!
After throwing their support to Harry Reid, it is fair to say that the NRA has been co-opted. This happens quite often when open (or closeted) progressives take the reigns at an organization.
“Gun Owners of America.”
Yep.
Along with FreeRepublic.
And there you have it! I too have had the same experience! I wrote them and cancelled my membership! No more phone calls, no more junk mail! Yippy!
I’m a Life Member and other than getting kudos at the range from the men it’s done nothing much for me.
Will Gun Owners of America allow me to trade in my NRA life membership for one of theirs like a used car?
If you can do wood/paper burning then that’s only Free Fuel.
;)
Please document your statement if you can.
Please attempt to document that the NRA gave any money to Harry Reid.
I don’t join groups, particularly one for guns. That’s one list I don’t need my name on.
I’m a Life Member. No.
NO! A life member for quite some time, they won’t send me the magazines unless I re-up. Sorry Charlie Tuna, not again. s
