“
Revolving Shotgun Built From Scratch
“
An interesting and well-executed exercise.
But I suspect some folks wouldn’t put the fingers of one hand in front
of a revolver with shotgun shells...although there’s probably about zero
risk with modern shells.
In comparison to the old black-powder “revolver” rifles which you needed
to NEVER put your hand out in front of the revolver in case an accidental
discharge might take off a fair chunk of your hand.

May I recommend a rail-mounted shovel for that Judge?

the only other gun part is a scrapped hammer from a 1857 Remington perc revolver:Actually it is from a replica of Remington New Model Army of 1863, missnamed the model of 1858 (not 1857) because of the original 1858 patent date.

Correct me if I’m wrong,
but the Miller case was decided by the overall length (including the shortened stock) being too short.
The barrel was OK, but the stock shortening caused the problem.

Hope the ATF doesn’t inquire about a Class 2 license to manufacture.

The BATF even went after the “potato gun” guys at one point.

Very cool gun.
Wonder why his finger is inside the trigger guard?

Nice - 26 round capacity. Impressive.
My current obsession is this baby:

14+1 in a short 26.1” frame. Plus, the ability to hot switch which magazine tube you are feeding from. Buck shot on one side, slugs on the other, and a lever selects which one you want at any given moment.
