Bravo, bravo henkster! The cholesterol hype is so misguided.

And add severe muscle pain and spasms to the list of statin side effects.

Thank you! Now I know why I get cramps like I do sometimes.

We lock them down at night. We also have 4 geese and 6 ducks. Our German Shepherd dog sees these birds as his responsibility to watch over, so I think that may help.

We’ve not lost any geese, but we have lost 4 ducks and 7 hens over the last year. Fortunately, we learned quickly that we need to lock them up at night.

Coyotes do live here, we hear them all the time, but they haven’t been a issue. It was those damnable raccoons that had taken their toll early on.

I expect to lose a few from time to time, but I would rather take the risk than keep the birds in cages 24/7.

Just don’t have toast, jam or pancakes etc with them.

I rather like the almond-meal pancakes I often have for breakfast. Low carbs, and if one uses a mixture of blanched and unblanched whole almonds rather than almond meal, the cost isn't too bad (almond meal is about $10+/lb, whereas blanched almonds are about $5/lb and unblanched about $3/lb).

Eggs are also high in sulfur and sulfur based amino acids, and amino acids in general, very good for you if you ask me.
