Multiculturalism is a byproduct of political correctness.
That is why assimilation is so important.
Those unwilling to assimilate into the culture and society of their adopted country should go back to the country they came from.
If they do not like our laws and the enforcement of those laws, let them go back where they came from.
Assimilation also means learning the language of the adopted country.
We must secure our borders and examine very carefully who we allow to come into our country. That policy should be the joint responsibility of both the customs department and the DHS.
What is amazing to me is that assimilation makes a country more unique and powerful in my view. For centuries, people from all corners of the earth have come to the U.S. They brought with them their food, language, holidays, dress etc.. but became regular Americans. Okay, Italians may have had pasta alongside their Thanksgiving turkey but they still celebrated the holiday and were proud to be American. The Irish may have listened to different types of music but were still Americans. No one asked for a different language, no one asked for a different set of laws or courts. The concept that someone can live here and act like they live in another country is, well... not American and therefore detrimental. IMHO
“Those unwilling to assimilate into the culture and society of their adopted country should go back to the country they came from.”
Exactly, these people need to understand it is their traditional lifestyles making their home societies a failure.
And it is Western lifestyles making civilized societies their place to go.
Live Western lifestyles instead of turning your new home into same craphole you just left or get out.
