Being a short tempered Celt I have tons of respect for and deeply envy Sen.Inhofe for being able to keep his cool After less than a minute I would have been slapping those smarmy folks upside the head.
That was awesome. I can’t think of any issue on which Sen Inhofe and I disagree. It was hilarious last winter when his grandchildren build the Al Gore Igloo in D.C. I am proud to have voted for him 3 times. Unfortunately, he is 76, and I don’t know if he’ll run again. He still flies his own plane home to Oklahoma as far as I know.

You're wrong about the desperate and jobless thing. Somebody is paying those greenies, and paying them very well. The Left is very well funded and supported by NGOs, Academia, Media Outlets, Non-Profit foundations ...and by people like Senator Imhofe.
That's right. Some of your Congressional faves hire staffs that are completely left-wing. They hire the same staffers who have hung around DC for years and work on every committee, in every office. They write the bills that our people don't read. They staff the agencies that enforce the laws the way THEY see fit.
Democrats to a man, they are often the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of people who came to town with FDR, and are permanently employed. For them, the Republicans are an aberration that will soon be gone. They remain, and they await the return of Their friends, the Democrats.
Republicans have NEVER learned to clean house. They have NEVER learned how to staff the government with Republicans. They have never learned to reward the people that got them the job. As a result, government machinery, the bureaucracy, the actual business of government, is the sustaining arm of the Democratic Party and has been for 75 years. It's why they can afford to hang out ... and I and you cannot. And it's one major reason why the Republicans never seem to get anything done smoothly, and have misinformation leaked from their offices.
The Republicans are not called "The Stupid Party" for nothing. They earned it. To unearn it and convince me they mean business, throw the Democrats out of the government and replace them with US.
The first thing I would ask these delusional people is: Why did you change your argument from Global Warming to Climate Change?
The answer, if answered honestly, would be because they lost the argument on Global Warming because it was proven to be fraudulent.
They had to revert to Climate Change because there is no argument against that climate DOES change several times every day everywhere in the world.
But even that position falls apart when they claim that it is caused by mankind.

Interestingly enough, I followed a thread yesterday to this douchebag’s web-site, where he’s agitated to start a campaign to confront every prominent figure who opposes the global warming alarmists, with instructions to his minions that these opponents are to be thought of as “cranks”, not skeptics. Apparently he is the national arbiter of who is to be judged a crank, and who is pursuing the time-honored scientific tradition of questioning conventional wisdom.
Two features in this video are especially instructive:
1) He never introduces a single scientific argument - his whole position is an appeal to authority: not the strongest of rhetorical approaches, but apparently the best he’s got
2) And if anyone needs any further evidence that he’s just a true-believer liberal, his shameless use of his daughter - the totally emotional “let’s do it for the children” approach to policy - is all I need to recognize the intellectual vacuity of his position,
And oh, by the way, he’s got a book coming out - I’m sure the publicity associated with ambushing Inhofe is just a coincidence.

When you think about it, nearly every newspaper article spouting off in favor of "glow-bull warming" uses the same approach. "The science is settled" and "it's for the children" are the two consistent themes that the leftards continue to use, thinking that it will always resonate with the general population.
