No joke: The Daily Show brought a camel to the protests in Madison the other day, presumably to help make fun of the Cairo/Madison comparisons. As this video shows, the gag didn't turn out so well:
Who knew that an animal indigenous to the Middle East couldn't walk on snow and ice in the Midwest? Local firefighters eventually rescued the camel. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that the Daily Show didn't use any footage of the camel in its Tuesday night broadcast.
Update: If I'm not mistaken, it appears that Daily Show correspondent John Oliver walks in front of the camera at one point and urges the man shooting the video to turn it off. Censorship!

Do we know that the camel’s leg is not broken. You can hear them at the end of the video saying “I think it’s broken”.
Torture? That’s a stretch. Negligence bordering on mistreatment maybe but not “torture”.

What morons! It reminds me of that WKRP in Cincinnati show where the news guy threw turkey out of helicopter, unaware that they couldn’t fly. It was funny on TV; not so funny when it involves real animals.
I did not hear that, but the audio out of my mobile device isn't that clear. No, I don't know for a certainty that the camel didn't break his leg. I just presumed that because it wasn't mentioned in the "update". The leg could be broke, I just don't know.

I hope that someone sends this video clip to Drudge and to Rush Limbaugh, to highlight the abuse of animals by the liberals POS socialists. If conservatives ever did anything like this, there would be lawsuits & criminal charges being filed immediately by the libturds, howling with feigned outrage over the mistreatment & abuse of animals.
These things frequently seem to happen when the liberals try to be cute.

There’s 3 parts to the video.
In part 3 they finally got the camel up and his leg was fine.
Now they just got to give something to the ‘cameraman’ for his achne!
