A pro-public union SEIU rally turned ugly today outside the Colorado Capitol in Denver. The Colorado union supporters started out the day chanting, “Tax the rich!”
But later the unhinged SEIU thugs accosted a gay black tea partyer.
This verbal assault lasted for several minutes. In this segment the pro-union leftists asks this black tea partyer,
“I just want to know how you can vote against your own best interest.”
Unbelievable.

As I watched the video of him explaining who he was, it was obvious he has sacrificed much in terms of relationships with family and friends with his lifelong conservative stance. I applaud him for his courage. Some of the Union dudes were really menacing...
Not really an “attack”. The Log Cabin Republican stood his game well, though.
The one thing that was uncalled for, to me, was the lady who asked the black guy if he had any kids “that he wanted to claim”. Don’t leftists call such rhetoric “racist”?

This fits with the history of racism against blacks by the Democrats, who have ALWAYS been the party of slavery and racism.

They will sell him down the river for support from the people who want sharia law in this country who definately don’t have this man’s best interest in mind....

The following statement applies to all American citizens with a job (except Democrat party operatives, who don’t really count): If you do not vote Republican, you are working against your interests. I think that a liberal’s willingness to kill 99% of the human race (including their own members) for the sake of global warming, universal healthcare, or other such nonsense is highly dangerous, and legal action needs to be taken against such degenerates.

I translate it differently:
We know what’s good for you, boy. So don’t get uppity and start disagreeing with us. That is, if you know what’s good for you. Boy.
Imputing the black cultural norm of out-of-wedlock birth to an individual black dude one doesn’t know is arguably racist, but it appears this woman was snarking at him, not seriously saying that since he’s black, he must have kids born out of wedlock, so an accusation of racism would be more tenuous. I appreciate the temptation for conservatives to put the shoe on the other foot by accusing liberals of anti-black racism, but I think we’d be wise to avoid that except when the evidence is incontrovertible. Whenever conservatives accuse liberals of racism against blacks, we legitimize that use of the race card, something that will inevitably come back to haunt us, since that particular race card is far more often deployed against us than liberals. Let us keep our heads about us and choose those fights where we stand to gain, and avoid thankless fights when we can.
If the guy is a tea partier, then how is his voting against tax hikes, weak national defense, irresponsible spending, and welfare state expansion against his own best interests? Did the SEIU thug assume the guy was a welfare recipient just because he's black?

I disagree that it is a “cultural norm”. Roughly 38% of black women between the ages of 18 and 44 are single with no children (the highest of all groups). Around 30% are married. Thus, the out of wedlock births are comming from around 32% of black women and individuals within this 32% tend have have on average more children than married black women (which causes high percentage of out of wedlock births).
Around 25% of black Americans fall below the poverty line and this group makes up the majority of the 32% who have children out of wedlock. Unfortunately black culture is often defined based on the behavior of its lower class as opposed to the behavior of the other 75%.
Around 70% of black kids are born out of wedlock; that’s what I meant by calling it the norm.
